Reformed Epistemology

Belief in God can be a properly basic belief, justified in itself without argument.

What it claims

Reformed epistemology rejects the premise that belief in God is justified only if inferred from other beliefs. Plantinga challenged the criterion of classical foundationalism, on which only beliefs that are self-evident, evident to the senses, or incorrigible are properly basic, noting that the criterion does not satisfy itself. Which beliefs can be basic then becomes an open question again.
