Evidentialism
The justification of a belief is determined solely by the evidence the subject has at the time.
What it claims
Evidentialism defines justification in terms of evidence. Subject S is justified in believing proposition p at time t if and only if the evidence S has at t supports p. Justification supervenes on the subject's mental states.
